InvestEd is a sensational national investor education event with deep roots, longevity, and respect in the long-term fundamental investing community. The origins of InvestEd began 16 years ago when an astute group of volunteer educators recognized the need for high quality and good value investment education for investors who use computers and electronic communications.

A talented team of experienced and committed volunteers debuted InvestEd 2007 in Costa Mesa, California. Attendees, sponsors, partners, and vendors raved about the excellent inaugural event. They made it clear that InvestEd was their event of choice because of the superb sessions, attentive participants, and joie de vivre.

Education Sessions and Instructors

Software

InvestEd alone features a number of innovative investing software products. The creative software developers from ICLUBcentral, Manifest Investing, Quant IX Software, and Churr Software (Mac and Windows) are on site to demonstrate their unique products. Seize the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the programs and learn first-hand from the developers. These investing tools may very well become an important part of your investing expertise.

Computer Lab

Highly skilled volunteers and software developers staff the InvestEd Computer Lab to willingly tutor participants and answer questions. Attendees benefit from the computer lab’s extended hours during the day and in the evening. The computer lab is open until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.

Cyber Café

On Friday and Saturday nights, enjoy the camaraderie and stock analysis discussions in the Cyber Café. It is a treasured after-hours gathering place for attendees, with or without their own computers. Take advantage of free wireless access and generous support from knowledgeable instructors and fellow InvestEd attendees.

Newbie Program

New to fundamental long-term investing in the stock market? Register for the Newbie  Program and learn why former participants loudly praise its merits year after year. The program includes a curriculum specifically designed for attendees with little or no experience in long-term fundamental investing.

Leadership Training

InvestEd Leadership Training takes place Friday afternoon, August 8, from noon until 6:00 PM. This program is devoted to increasing the teaching and leadership skills of the volunteers who generously spend time helping others learn about investing in the stock market. For example, join Lynn Ostrem and other experienced investment club leaders to learn how to nurture, sustain, and maintain investment clubs.

Registration

Registration includes all meals, sessions, computer lab time, and handouts, Register for the $369 Early Bird price by May 1, 2008 and receive paper handouts for all sessions and a CD containing the handouts along with additional supplemental instructor materials. Register after May 1, 2008 for $399 and you receive the CD only. You receive all handout materials and CDs at the event, not in the mail.
